Vella is a Guangzhou-based beauty packaging solutions provider that helps indie and emerging cosmetic brands specify, source, sample, tool, quality-control and ship complete packaging systems — bottles, jars, tubes, pumps, closures and cartons — from vetted Chinese partner factories operating to ISO 22716 / GMP, with published engineering standards and low minimums. The work is organised as a six-module program — Spec, Source, Sample, Mould, QC, Ship — applied per category, with the numbers published in the engineering reference library.

How we source your packaging.

Share your brief

We shortlist factories & formats

Vella matches your brief against our vetted factory network and presents 2–3 format and supplier options with comparative pricing, lead times and MOQs. No guesswork, no generic catalogs.

Sampling & iteration

We order samples from shortlisted factories, brief the decoration team on your colour and logo, and ship samples directly to you. Feedback rounds are managed by Vella — you don't deal with the factory directly.

Production & QC

Once you approve the golden sample, we manage production scheduling, inline inspection and pre-shipment QC against your spec. Any non-conformance is caught and resolved before goods leave the factory.

Consolidation & delivery

Orders from multiple factories are consolidated into a single shipment. We handle freight booking, export documentation and tracking. Your packaging arrives ready to fill.

Vella is a sourcing and solutions partner, not a factory. We work with a curated network of vetted Chinese partner factories. This means each format goes to the specialist that's best at it — not the one factory that's available. We're honest about this because it's actually a stronger model than a single factory trying to do everything.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ varies by format, material and decoration level. We specifically work with factories that offer low MOQs suited to indie and emerging brands. Contact us with your format and quantity target and we'll tell you what's achievable — most formats start from 500–2,000 units.

How long does sampling take?

Standard sampling (existing mould, new decoration) is typically 2–4 weeks from brief sign-off to sample receipt. For custom tooling — a new mould — allow 4–6 weeks for the first sample, then 1–2 weeks per revision round.

Do you handle QC and inspection?

Yes. Pre-shipment QC is included in every order. We inspect against your approved golden sample before goods leave the factory. If we find non-conformance, we resolve it with the factory — you don't have to chase anyone.

Can Vella source packaging for a full range at once?

Yes — and this is where Vella adds the most value. If your launch needs airless bottles, dropper bottles and lip packaging, we coordinate all three in parallel, consolidate into a single shipment and give you one point of contact throughout.

Does Vella do formulation as well as packaging?

Packaging is our core focus. However, through our 20-year manufacturing group, we can introduce you to formulation partners for cleanser, serum and treatment formulas if needed. Ask us and we'll see what we can arrange.
